1917 - The Real October wins the Best Documentary Award at the International Film Festival "Russia Abroad" in Moscow.    

The animated documentary premieres in North America at the St. Louis International Film Festival on November 9, 2017 at 6:45 pm, Plaza Frontenac Theatre. Tickets are available here. Co-producer Peter Roloff will attend the screening.

International Premiere of 1917 – The Real October at the International Animation Film Festival Annecy in France on June 12, 2017 with additional screenings on June 13 and 15. After the world's biggest animation festival, the film is invited to the prestigious Moscow International Film Festival, June 24-26, 2017. .

Katrin Rothe explains her MAKING OF Exhibition for her animated documentary 1917 – The Real October. The exhibition at the Animatorium in Zurich is open until May 27, 2017.
